After breakfast, take a full-day guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the famous tanneries, colorful souks, and artisan quarters. Overnight in Fes.
Journey north through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Spend the afternoon wandering its narrow blue-painted streets, relaxing in cafés, and enjoying the mountain views. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Leave Chefchaouen and head to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Meknes to explore its grand gates, palaces, and medina before enter to hotel for the night.
Travel south via the cedar forests of Azrou, passing through Midelt and the lush Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in a riad near the dunes.
Explore the Sahara by 4x4, visiting Khamlia village for Gnawa music, nomadic families, and seasonal lakes. In the afternoon, camel trek into the dunes to witness the sunset. Dinner, music, and overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake early for the sunrise before traveling to Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise above a crystal-clear river. Continue to Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight in a charming guesthouse.
