7 days tour from Marrakech to desert

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your traditional riad in the heart of the medina. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the lively souks or simply relax after your journey. Overnight in Marrakech.

After breakfast, meet your licensed local guide for a full-day tour of Marrakech, the “Red City.” Visit iconic landmarks including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Wander through the winding alleys of the medina, explore the colorful souks, and soak in the atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, alive with street performers, food stalls, and local artisans. Overnight in Marrakech.

We depart early, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a stunning example of Moroccan earthen architecture. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before traveling through the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Gorges, where you’ll enjoy dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.

After breakfast, we explore the Dades Valley before heading to Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs. In the afternoon, we reach Merzouga, where you’ll mount your camel and trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a night under the stars.

Today is dedicated to discovering the Merzouga region. We visit Khamlia village for live Gnawa music, meet nomadic families in the desert, and explore seasonal lakes or oases (if present). You’ll also visit the historic town of Rissani, known for its lively market and ancient ksars. Return to your desert hotel or camp for dinner and overnight.

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels or drive back to Merzouga village for breakfast. We travel through Rissani and along the scenic Draa Valley, with its endless palm groves and kasbahs, before reaching Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we journey back through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Depending on your flight time, we may make short stops in Berber villages for photos before transferring you directly to Marrakech Menara Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 7 days adventure.
